Monday Bolts - 12.15.08
- Ball Don't Lie behind the box score: "The Spurs got out to a huge (26 points) lead in the first half, and while the offense did taper off a bit (44 combined points in the second and third quarters), it was the team's one-on-one defense that looked much worse. Jeff Green (33 points) and Kevin Durant (28) went off, and the Thunder made a game of it."
- The Oklahoman asked Sam Presti three questions: "Nobody’s happy with where we stand right now from a record standpoint. But we feel like in the last weeks we’ve taken steps forward. But we have to play with consistency. I think the consistency in our ability to show improvement each day in practice carries over to game situations. I like the fact that our guys have hung together and continue to work to get themselves righted. There’s an accountability for our slow start for everyone.”
- Thunderguru game reaction: "When we played the Jazz in November (which seems like a loooongg long time ago with this team), we played in a similar fashion as we did in tonight’s game: play unbelievably bad in the first half, but in the second half, come out and play so well you scare the bejeezus out of a title contending team."

Can always trust Zogby to deliver a poll that favors conservatives.
Everyone I know thinks Oklahoma is a dump. They are right.
Yeah D-bag...like being a conservative is a bad thing.
It's incredibly sad how these okies can't just be happy being themselves. Why do they constantly have to ask the country how we feel about them?
The inferiority complex that runs through that state is only surpassed by their ignorance. It's like a fat lady asking if she looks fat in a tube top and mini skirt, they know the answer.
The zogby poll is to assure the okies that they did the right thing by voting for a tax increase for a millionaire and his hobby. The economy is in the tank, the oil companies are losing their asses, the owners are basically screwed, and OKC is hurting financially. This poll makes them feel good about the bad decisions they made to feel major league.
How does it feel being major league? Do you feel like real life New Yorkers. LOL
No Joe, being a conservative isn't necessarily a bad thing. But taking consistently biased polls is. That's what Zogby does best.
Being a conservative is a good thing - outside of Oklahoma that is. To be a conservative there, you have to keep a white robe and hood in your closet.
